Jeff Spahr

Jeff Spahr is Vice President of SKYGEN’s Vision Business responsible for the growth strategy, innovation, operations and financial performance of more than 17 million vision lives administered or supported by SKYGEN’s market leading technology platform. He is responsible for achieving member and provider satisfaction as well as developing strong relationships with payor partners to grow their business.

Jeff has over 20 years of health plan and financial management leadership experience. He held positions of increasing responsibility at Anthem Inc. Most recently he was Vice President, Specialty where he led strategic growth initiatives across 16 million Specialty members (Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, Voluntary Supplemental Health, and Workers’ Compensation Services) and segment growth strategies from Individual (under 65 and Medicare) to National Accounts. He was also responsible for developing Anthem Whole Health Connection®, the clinical integration strategy combining Medical, Pharmacy, Dental, Vision, Disability and Supplemental Health products as well as leading the mobile strategy. Jeff also has M&A experience leading both due diligence and integration teams across Vision and Dental businesses. 

Prior roles at Anthem include Staff VP, Vision, as well as finance management and project management roles. Jeff has an MBA from Pepperdine University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State University, Chico. He currently serves as a board member of the National Association of Vision Care Plans (NAVCP).
