Craig Kasten

CEO and Managing Partner

Craig Kasten leads SKYGEN USA in creating next-generation technology-enabled solutions that power the business of healthcare through the digital age. Through his visionary leadership, SKYGEN USA leads the market with transformational technology and service offerings that reinvent healthcare benefits.

Mr. Kasten is an accomplished leader whose career in the managed healthcare industry spans 30 years. He is the founder and co-founder of several organizations which have evolved to become part of SKYGEN USA’s suite of world-class solutions. He also co-founded Doral Dental USA and grew the company to a market-dominant position before its sale to DentaQuest Ventures. Mr. Kasten continues to provide vision, strategic direction and creative support for functional design innovations to the Enterprise System, SKYGEN USA’s proprietary software platform.

Prior to launching his entrepreneurial career, Mr. Kasten served concurrently as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of CareNetwork, Inc., a publicly traded regional health plan later acquired by Humana. Mr. Kasten holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Marquette University and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He has been licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Wisconsin.

Mr. Kasten was honored as Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young in 2003. In 2005, he was named a Distinguished Alumnus by the Marquette University School of Business Administration.

Greg Borca

Co-Founder

SKYGEN USA Co-Founder Greg Borca provides vision and direction for growth of the company and its suite of world-class technology-enabled solutions. Respected as an innovator in the healthcare industry, Mr. Borca has co-founded and led several successful companies, including Doral Dental USA, and several organizations that have evolved into SKYGEN USA’s suite of solutions.

Mr. Borca’s business experience and leadership expertise have enabled him to pioneer more effective strategies for healthcare benefit management. By pairing state-of-the-art technology with innovative business models, he has drastically reduced costs while improving the overall experience for members and providers. He has also driven the creation of innovative outreach tactics that increase member access to care. Under Mr. Borca’s leadership, SKYGEN USA has expanded rapidly into a position of market leadership.

Mr. Borca’s entrepreneurial career began when he founded Resolute Systems, Inc., a national mediation and arbitration company. Before he partnered with Mr. Kasten to create Doral Dental, one of the largest benefit management companies in the U.S., he also founded Mednet of America, Inc.

Mr. Borca holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Organization and Leadership from Marquette University. He formally served on the national board of Voices for America’s Children, an organization that advocates for the well-being of children at the federal, state and local levels of government.

Mr. Borca was named an Entrepreneur of the Year in 2003 by Ernst & Young. In 2004, he was named on The Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” list. In 2011, he received a Distinguished Alumnus Award from Marquette University’s College of Professional Studies.

Michelle Spencer

Chief Innovation Officer

As Chief Innovation Officer, Michelle Spencer leads the team responsible for driving market innovations and increasing SKYGEN USA’s speed in launching new products and services in the marketplace. Ms. Spencer oversees efforts to identify, test, and launch new business opportunities with charter clients. She and her team also ensure new solutions are effectively transitioned more broadly into the SKYGEN USA organization.

Ms. Spencer brings a wealth of experience in the health benefits industry to SKYGEN USA. Previously employed by Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) and a leading national managed care company, she gained invaluable experience in the areas of system conversions and financial audits. With her knowledge of computer systems and finance, Ms. Spencer has proven to be a strong and versatile team leader.

Ms. Spencer holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business with majors in Accounting and Management Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. As a Certified Public Accountant, she also holds an MBA with an emphasis in Healthcare Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Darrin Haehle

Chief Technology Officer

As Chief Technology Officer, Darrin Haehle leads the team responsible for driving product and technology excellence and ensuring the Enterprise System and related web-based solutions are best-in-class for the dental, vision, and medical lines of business across the commercial and government markets. Mr. Haehle also oversees the company’s technology roadmap, development priorities, and software product development functions.

Mr. Haehle brings more than 15 years of managed healthcare experience and over 25 years of systems design experience to his role, including designing and developing custom software applications and web-based benefit management software systems. Prior to his previous role with SKYGEN USA’s Enterprise technology, Mr. Haehle held key positions with progressive responsibilities at Doral Dental, including Director of Application Development and CIO. While at Doral, he oversaw all aspects of the company’s software application to support daily operations, supervised and supported all technology-related personnel and activities, and provided on-site support and service for clients.

Mr. Haehle earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Systems from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Steven J. Berryman

Chief Legal Officer

As Chief Legal Officer in a highly-regulated industry, Steven J. Berryman has responsibility for leading all legal and compliance functions across SKYGEN USA. He is responsible for ensuring the company maintains a world-class legal function, including commercial contracting, protection of intellectual property, regulatory compliance, and service delivery as well as upholding SKYGEN USA’s core values.

Mr. Berryman brings more than two decades of award-winning legal and management experience to his role. Prior to joining SKYGEN USA, he spent 20 years at Quarles & Brady LLP, an AmLaw 200 Law Firm, the last 12 years of which were as an Equity Partner. During that time, he represented numerous Fortune 500 companies throughout the U.S. in legal matters addressing complex contract and commercial issues, intellectual property, antitrust, product distribution and marketing, trade secret, and unfair competition. Personal accolades include being named as a top-rated attorney by Benchmark, Super Lawyers, and other industry groups. Following law school, he served as Law Clerk for a Judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.

Mr. Berryman earned his Juris Doctorate from Northwestern University School of Law. As an undergraduate he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Nebraska with a triple major in Philosophy, Political Science, and English Literature. He also holds a Certificate in Executive Management from the Notre Dame School of Business.

Linda Bernier

Chief Marketing Officer

As Chief Marketing Officer for SKYGEN USA, Linda Bernier leads the marketing organization in continuing to position the company as an industry leader in driving results and innovation in health benefits technologies and solutions. An accomplished senior leader with more than 20 years of experience in healthcare and technology organizations, she is responsible for setting SKYGEN USA’s go-to-market strategy for corporate and product marketing, overseeing its execution, and establishing processes to measure and improve customer satisfaction. She is also a driving force in uniting the company’s formerly separate product and solution offerings under a singular SKYGEN USA brand, a move that will make it easier for clients to take full advantage of the depth and breadth of the company’s capabilities to help them drive down costs while ensuring healthier outcomes for all Americans.

Ms. Bernier joined SKYGEN USA from Welltok where she was the Market Executive responsible for driving government and commercial market segments in a highly scalable way to meet unique population health management goals. Prior to that position, she was Senior Vice President, Enterprise Strategy & Communications for TriZetto, a Cognizant Company, where she led corporate marketing, product marketing, and the overall voice of client program. Previously, she was the General Manager for Oracle (Siebel) Healthcare, where she was responsible for building the company’s healthcare vertical. She also held roles as the Vice President, Strategic Development for Premera Blue Cross, and as a top-level manager for Deloitte Consulting in their healthcare practice.

Ms. Bernier holds a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School with concentrations in Healthcare Management and Marketing, as well as a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Wellesley College, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Robert Bilsborough

Chief Human Resources Officer

As Chief Human Resources Officer, Robert Bilsborough leads the Human Resources function for SKYGEN USA. Mr. Bilsborough sets the company’s Human Resources strategy including talent management, organization effectiveness, leadership development, employee engagement, company values, and compensation and benefits.

Mr. Bilsborough is a human resources executive with more than 25 years of experience including significant global experience in growth-oriented engineering and technology companies. He is experienced in leading all aspects of the Human Resources function including: business partners, centers of expertise, and HR operations. Prior to joining SKYGEN USA, Mr. Bilsborough led the Human Resources practice of the Vx Group. He also served in senior Human Resources positions at Rockwell Automation, Inc., where he was the vice president of Human Resources for the Control Products & Solutions segment, vice president of Human Resources for Global Sales & Marketing, and also served as the vice president of  Compensation, Benefits and HR Business Services.

Mr. Bilsborough serves on the Board of Directors for the Ozaukee Ice Center.

Mr. Bilsborough earned his Masters of Industrial Relations from Queen’s University in Canada and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Laurentian University in Canada.

Kyle Koltz

Senior Vice President, Third Party Administration Operations

As Senior Vice President, Third Party Administration Operations at SKYGEN USA, Mr. Koltz is responsible for advancing operational excellence, the satisfaction of customers, providers and members, and the bottom line revenue growth of SKYGEN USA’s administrative business lines. With Mr. Koltz’s broad experience in information technology, claims administration, and general management roles, his leadership is key to achieving SKYGEN USA’s commitment to transforming the way dental, vision and Medicaid benefits are delivered for increased levels of efficiency at reduced costs for all Americans.

Mr. Koltz has a proven track record of success with the ability to transform organizational operations in the rapidly changing healthcare environment. Upon first joining SKYGEN USA, he served as Vice President of Administration with responsibility for the government dental, commercial dental, vision, and government medical TPA business lines. He is a critical thinker delivering operational excellence, developing market strategy, extending sales/distribution channels, and implementing business initiatives focused on cost containment, profitability improvement and customer satisfaction. He is highly successful in assessing challenges quickly, delivering on commitments, and developing strategic plans to meet quality measures while improving loss ratios and increasing revenues.

Prior to joining SKYGEN USA, Mr. Koltz served as Director, Medical Products at Humana and led the HumanaOne health exchange business. Before that, he held positions of increasing responsibility at Assurant Health where he served as Vice President, Customer and Agent Service Experience as well as Director IT.

Mr. Koltz earned his BBA at the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater.

Dr. Fred Tye

Chief Dental Officer

Dr. Fred Tye is the Chief Dental Officer for SKYGEN USA, overseeing all aspects of the company’s dental utilization review and management activities. In his role, Dr. Tye develops and implements clinical criteria algorithms utilized in the authorization process, and designs provider profiling measurement tools and their applications. Dr. Tye is also part of the team involved in determination, interpretation, and analytics related to the management of client dental benefits.

A licensed dentist since 1977, Dr. Tye has more than two decades of experience in various corporate settings, including direct experience in strategic planning, dental operations, network development, risk management, and consulting. Prior to joining SKYGEN USA, he managed CIGNA Health’s nationwide PPO and DHMO dental networks, built a DHMO business unit for Delta Dental Plan of Illinois, and provided dental capitation pricing for numerous Blue Cross Blue Shield Plans while at Dental Network of America.

Dr. Tye earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Loyola University School of Medicine, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from the University of Illinois. At the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, he earned an MBA with a concentration in Health Management and Finance.

Lisa Sweeney

Executive Director of SKYGEN International Foundation

Lisa Sweeney is the Executive Director of the SKYGEN International Foundation, which is focused on finding cost effective ways to improve healthcare in underserved parts of the world by using emerging technology. In this role, she is charged with developing all operations from the ground-up. The Foundation’s current initiative is generating funding to train local care teams to use the latest mobile diagnostic equipment for vision testing in Tanzania, and in the future, other developing nations. Children and adults in these communities will receive glasses custom-made to their specific prescription.

Ms. Sweeney moved into the charitable practice of SKYGEN USA after contributing to the success of the corporate side for more than 16 years as the Chief Financial Officer. During that time, she also led SKYGEN USA’s vision benefits management organization, as well as making contributions in a variety of functional areas including operations, quality, cost containment, compliance, facilities, and human resources. Prior to joining SKYGEN USA, she was Finance Director – Procurement for CNH, a global leader in the capital goods sector, and Cost Accounting Manager at EZ Paintr. Ms. Sweeney began her career as an Auditor at KPMG US.

In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant and Certified Financial Manager, Ms. Sweeney holds a Master of Business Administration and Management from Marquette University, as well as Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in Accounting and in Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Jamie Purko

Chief Financial Officer

As Chief Financial Officer, Jamie Purko brings more than 20 years of experience to SKYGEN USA where he is responsible for ensuring the company operates at peak financial performance, so it continues to deliver innovative, industry-leading, technology-enabled benefit solutions to the company’s clients. He and his team are charged with establishing and reporting key financial and operational metrics, deepening the company’s commitment to delivering ROI to its clients.

Mr. Purko most recently was Chief Financial Officer at Connecture, Inc., a web-based consumer shopping, enrollment, and retention company for health insurance distribution. Prior to joining Connecture, he was Vice President and CFO at HK Systems, Inc., and worked in public accounting as an Audit Manager for Arthur Andersen, LLP.

Mr. Purko is a Certified Public Accountant, holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from the University of Wisconsin. He is personally active in ensuring the quality of and access to healthcare for children, serving as a member of the Board of Children’s Community Health Plan.

Lance Stewart

Chief Growth Officer

As SKYGEN USA’s Chief Growth Officer, Lance Stewart is a champion for the company’s technology-enabled solutions, bringing new and innovative products and services to existing clients and markets as well as exploring new opportunities created by the rapidly evolving healthcare landscape. He is focused on helping payers and delivery systems transform their organizations by taking advantage of everything from large enterprise administration and technology initiatives to individual point solutions that solve specific needs. With his strong commitment to exemplary client service and collaborative approach to both internal and external relationships, Mr. Stewart has a demonstrated ability to help players in the healthcare continuum grow their businesses while reducing costs, improving operations, and serving their members more effectively.

Mr. Stewart has an extensive background in helping organizations add new customers, enter new markets, and launch new products and services. He joins SKYGEN USA from Medecision, a leading software as a service (SaaS) population health and risk management company, where he was Senior Vice President and Market President. Prior to that, he held positions as Vice President at GNS Healthcare; Vice President, Healthcare Payers, Providers, and Infomediaries at eMids Technologies; and Senior Sales Executive at McKesson Health Solutions.

Mr. Stewart holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications from the University of Tulsa. He has also served in leadership roles for multiple healthcare associations, such as America Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) and HIMSS, to drive improvements and innovation across payers, providers, and their constituencies.

Dave Dingley

President of American Therapy Administrators

As President of American Therapy Administrators (ATA), Dave Dingley oversees all aspects of SKYGEN USA’s therapy benefits management affiliate organization, where he has successfully implemented value-based contract administration for many clients. Mr. Dingley works with the team responsible for transitioning value-based contract administration and value-based strategic consulting into SKYGEN USA’s suite of world-class solutions.

Mr. Dingley has led ATA’s expansion into new markets and launched several successful new products in the therapy benefit management industry. Prior to joining SKYGEN USA, Mr. Dingley spent six years as Executive Director of Prudential Healthcare’s managed care plans in Kansas City, MO.

Mr. Dingley holds an MBA from the Keller Graduate School of Business, and is a graduate of Wabash College.
